Chapter 17: The Revelation Church God’s kingdom cannot be brought about by human led efforts alone. Solely human-level endeavours to implement God’s kingdom are folly. The kingdom can only be installed by God, under the precise conditions outlined in prophecy; that is, when Jesus comes with the clouds to save his people in Petra, Jordan, following a time of tribulation, before proceeding to liberate Jerusalem from the Antichrist with the raptured saints. I am not launching a party-political movement intended to come to political power in this age, because I am not the Messiah, and I am not a False Messiah. In this era, called the church age in theology, our primary mission is to spread the good news. To that end, I announce the creation of a new church: The Revelation Church.

The focus of Revealed Christianity is not on church services or rituals, but on the  distribution of salvific and healing information. ‘You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free’, will be our motto, because Jesus himself identified the knowledge of God with salvation. Knowledge is the basis of belief, because you cannot believe in someone you don’t know anything about, and the more you know about Jesus, the more you believe, and the more beneficent actions (including miracles) will be taken on that belief, which in turn reinforces your knowledge of God. That information will primarily consist of books and videos made available via the internet, material that explains the Bible and points to the baptism in the Holy Spirit, that can occur anywhere that God wills it. It is true that desire to know the truth is necessary to obtain the knowledge of God; if people don’t want the truth, they won’t seek the truth, and if they don’t seek the truth, they won’t find it. That’s free will.God is the ultimate source for this knowledge, but there has to be an intermediary, an authority who is in charge of the dissemination and curation of the knowledge of the Revelation Church, as well as the nature and conduct of any future church services and that is me (at this time, nobody else wants the job, anyway). Jesus is head of The Church (Colossians 1:18), but I am head of this church on earth subject to his authority. There will be others involved in the administration and preaching of the church, and all members of the church are encouraged to be priests of Christ, though not in any officially ordained sense. All you need is comprehension of the information contained in this book, the Bible, and Godmindbody, and a willingness to act on that knowledge. I will make it plain which preachers I have approved, because it’s so easy for people to get the message wrong.

The true universal church is a spiritual fellowship attending churches belonging to various different Christian denominations. Some of that fellowship – perhaps more than people would think – are nondenominational and do not regularly attend church. The fellowship is defined by the shared presence of Christ’s Body and blood within its members.

This is a church for people who love God but don’t necessarily like going to church. It’s more important to walk the walk than to show up somewhere every Sunday, give a few quid and sing some hymns. I do however see the utility for believers to gather in Jesus’ name and support each other’s faith, because many people are liable to stray without constant reminders and structure. ‘Where two or more are gathered in my name, I am there.’ (Matthew 18:20). So there will be services. The gatherings could be online, in person, or more likely: both. Most churches have a section on their website that describes what they believe, so that prospective attendees can see if they will be a good fit. The following is what The Revealed Church knows to be true:1. Jesus is the Son of God, the Messiah, and Yahweh (God) himself. There is and cannot be any other Messiah.

2. The godhead is comprised of a trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Father and the Son can send the Holy Spirit to heal, help and save believers upon request. The second meaning of the trinity is Father (spirit), Holy Spirit (soul), and Son (matter), which are made one in salvation.

3. Humanity has original sin and is inherently flawed and self-destructive because of primordial disobedience in the Garden of Eden, leading to a default natural state of separation from God and closeness to the deceiver. This brought about the need for forgiveness, redemption and reunion with God, enabled by Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross.

4. Salvation and the forgiveness of sins is to be had by receiving God’s Spirit, The Holy Spirit, and the Body of Christ – which are united – into one’s own physical body (the new temple), specifically the head, where the Body of Christ is felt as a constant physical presence. Believers may then be taken up in the spirit to heaven to meet the Father and Son for themselves. This mystical experience is called ‘rebirth’ or being ‘born again’ (John 3:3). Salvation is defined as being in the state of safety from destruction on Judgement Day, and this requires the reception and preservation of the indwelling spirit. Salvation necessitates that God’s will is obeyed, and the commandments to love God and love thy neighbour are observed, which includes avoiding sin and doing good works to some extent. Salvation may be lost due to serious unrepentant sin and may also be regained, too, if God wills it. I cannot go into further detail, because it is up to God to decide to whom his spirit is imparted, and from whom it is withdrawn, and he decides on a case by case basis. Water baptism and eating communion bread are not strictly necessary for salvation, but they can cause salvation when sufficient faith is present, and are nonetheless good things to do, as Jesus told us to do them (Matthew 28:19; Mark 14:22). Undue weight must not be placed on these rituals however, as they do not always lead to salvation and, if misunderstood, they can engender the dangerous and widespread phenomenon of salvation complacency. ‘He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.’ (Mark 16:16).

5. Jesus Christ is God and a man. Although God was indeed his Father from The Virgin’s miraculous conception, and Father of the Logos in the beginning, because of all the scriptural references to Jesus as David, the allusions to his past life as Adam, Isaiah’s implication of a development period, and Zechariah’s (3) emphasis on Joshua the high priest being given symbolically clean clothes, with ‘Yahweh’s angel’ standing by (Zechariah 3:5), it is manifest that Jesus was born with a human soul that was anointed by the Spirit of God immediately after his baptism. Jesus merged fully and permanently with the Word of God. The human in him remained, but was henceforth totally subordinate to God. God became Man so that men might become sons of God. The incarnation was necessary to form a bridge between God and Man, and for Jesus’ glorified body to be offered for consumption, enabling humanity to partake in the divine nature, and Jesus’ immortality. Jesus’ resurrection and ascension demonstrated his conquest of death, and all the saved will sooner or later have an immortal body like his.

6. The rapture will be at a future juncture, for a minority of Christians, dead and living, towards the end of the tribulation period. The 144,000 elect will be the main group involved in the rapture, but there will be others.7. There will be a literal thousand-year reign of Christ and his saints on this earth (Revelation 20:1–6).

8. This millennium will be followed by the Gog Magog conflict described in Revelation 20, the mass resurrection of the dead, The Last Judgement and the New Jerusalem (Revelation 21–22), an eternal city on a new, eternal earth comprised of the union of spirit and matter, like Jesus’ glory body.

9. The purpose of Revealed Christianity is to turn humans into gods via salvation, sanctification and theosis, in which God divinizes the individual in heaven as a reward for their good deeds. Gods are not God, though.

10. All who are not saved, do not pass the judgement and will go to hell (sheol, the land of the dead) upon death, and ultimately will be cast in the lake of fire at the Last Judgement, which means utter annihilation of body and soul, so that they cease to be, with the exception of the worst offenders who will be tortured forever. All the saved will go to heaven upon bodily death and will be resurrected sooner or later in eternal bodies.

11. Many believers in existing churches are not really saved, though they believe they are, because they overvalue faith without action, and overemphasise rituals such as baptism, confession and the eucharist. This is because they do not know the whole truth and mistranslate the Greek word pisteou, which means belief backed by actions, not merely mentally accepting something as true. This creates a need for Revealed Christianity to reveal that truth and inspire the appropriate action.

12. The Bible is divinely inspired holy writ, and it is true.

13. The Bible prophecies about the Antichrist (Daniel 7;Revelation 13;17;19), the False Prophet, the End Times, the mark of the beast, the image of the beast (Revelation 13), the Rapture and the Second Coming (1 Thessalonians; Matthew 24:30) will come to pass, in mostly literal fashion, although some prophecies like the woman clothed in the sun (Revelation 12) and the beast with seven heads (Revelation 13:1) are clearly symbolic.

14. Reincarnation is implicit in the Bible. While inessential for salvation, belief in reincarnation is essential to fully understand Bible prophecy.

15. This is a conservative church. I agree with the Eastern Orthodox Church’s positions on abortion, homosexuality, and gay marriage.

More detailed expositions and explanations of the Church’s positions can be found in this book and Godmindbody: The Bible, Prophecy, Miracles and TMS Healing Explained.

Individual members of the laity can schedule a one-on-one chat with me for healing, confession or advice, though I will always encourage them to cut out the middleman and appeal directly to Christ, where possible. My ecclesiastical philosophy is minimalist: a good priest makes the congregation into their own priests, and Christ is ‘our high priest’ (Hebrews 4:14) in heaven, providing healing, counsel, wisdom and salvation directly to all who truly desire them with faith. If you are interested in joining the Revelation Church, you can contact me via the author website given below. The church is information-centric at present, and the information is available to all. There will be no hymns.
