Thought Control World

A world in which everyone can read minds and has telekinesis to some extent. A lot of conflict and hatred due to uncensored thoughts and feelings. Crime would skyrocket, as would false psychic police reports. Bad thoughts would have to be legal and tolerated, or everyone would be in jail or dead. Or people just become terrified. There would be countries with totalitarian thought control measures that would strip people of individuality. There would also be places that are more liberal and private. The solution is total mindguard, distributed by God and Messiahs, which enables people to control their thoughts and keep them private. This has solved world problems. The end result is a highly psychic world in which UFO craft are used for transportation, and people build pyramids and other large structures using their minds. There would be a character who has a need for privacy and ends up inventing the mindguard helmet. People use the psychic ability to heal.
